In 2007, I discovered an opportunity with UPS and CRCP. I had just returned from college in Miami, where I had to drop out because I couldn’t afford it anymore. I had taken out student loans and the tuition just kept rising to the point where I had to come back home before I racked any additional debt. CRCP offered me an opportunity to obtain my education while I gained valuable management experience with UPS. The CACH facility offered a special opportunity to be a part of very diverse work group and tremendous opportunities in many different fields. I was a part-time supervisor from 2007-2011. I Graduated from Governors State University in December of 2010 with my Bachelors in Accounting. I then was promoted to a Full-time supervisor position in operations in which I encountered many rotations from July 2011-July 2014. I then had a lateral transfer to a finance supervisor in Addison IL, where I am in currently in charge of the Global Credit department. My end goal was to obtain a finance/accounting position with UPS and I absolutely love my new position. I have also been selected as a protégé for GBS’s mentoring program, in which only 10 individuals are selected nationwide.

I can wholeheartedly say that without CRCP I may have never found my way through college into the career I love with a company I admire. The program supported my growth and allowed me to gain experience in many different management roles. These opportunities ultimately prepared me to create even more opportunities for myself and gave me the confidence to seize them. I truly owe my entire career to CRCP and I really believe I would not have graduated from college or been able to utilize my unique abilities the way I am now.
